About

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence." --Ansel Adams

Many people, at first glance, would always ask whether "Ebrithil" is my name. Well, it isn't. It may sound geeky but it's meaning is "master", and it comes from the Ancient language of the Inheritance Cycle written by Christopher Paolini. I enjoyed reading them when I was young and decided to use "ebrithil" to remind myself to master the things I do.

I started taking photos during middle school but really got into photography after high school. My first camera was a Canon Powershot digital camera and that was almost 10 years ago and I still have photos taken back then saved in my hard drive. Good old times.

I'm eager to try new things and have worked as a news/events/sports photographer for the Daily Illini, a student newspaper for the University of Illinois. Now, my main focuses are lifestyle, portrait, and landscape photography.

Taking photos is my way of recording not only my travels but also my every day life. It's always interesting looking through old photos and remembering bits of memories that may have dimmed away. I would definitely love to bring this happiness to people around me and to work with you on photographing your special events, taking portraits of you and your loved ones to cherish, and more.
